Jonathan Tropper Extends Apple TV Deal After ‘Your Friends and Neighbors’ Success
Following the success of “Your Friends and neighbors,” Apple has extended its partnership with showrunner Jonathan Tropper. The new multi-year deal will see Tropper continue too develop original content for Apple TV+ through his production company, Tropper Ink.
Tropper first partnered with Apple TV+ in 2019 as executive producer and showrunner for “See,” one of the platform’s initial offerings. Since then, he has become a prolific creator for the streaming service, with two active series and two films in development.
“Working with the entire team at Apple continues to be the single most creatively fulfilling collaboration of my career,” Tropper said. He added he looks forward to bringing “Lucky” and other new projects to the platform, while also creating more seasons of “Your Friends & Neighbors.”
