macOS Tahoe: A Retrospective on Apple’s 2025 Update

Apple’s operating system updates always present a degree of uncertainty. Major changes, like the introduction of more durable glass on the iPhone, can alter the user experiance.However, the last decade has generally brought consistent improvements to Apple’s software, particularly as the company has gradually increased customization options.

macOS Tahoe, released in September 2025, proved to be a welcome update. I didn’t initially prioritize installing it – I’m not one to rush into OS updates simply for the sake of having the latest version.

But after finally installing Tahoe,I felt a critically important sense of relief. The update addressed several long-standing annoyances adn streamlined the overall macOS experience. It’s a testament to Apple’s continued refinement of its desktop operating system.
