Ardent Health Partners with hellocare.ai for AI-Powered Virtual Care Expansion

February 25, 2026 Dr. Jennifer Chen Health

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. And CLEARWATER, Fla. – February 25, 2026 – Ardent Health, a healthcare provider operating in mid-sized urban communities across the United States, has partnered with hellocare.ai to implement an enterprise-wide platform for AI-assisted virtual care. The initiative will encompass over 2,000 patient rooms and aims to enhance patient safety, support clinical staff, and improve the delivery of care.

The collaboration will standardize and expand Ardent Health’s existing virtual care programs, utilizing hellocare.ai’s modules for AI Assisted Virtual Nursing, telehealth services, and AI Assisted Virtual Patient Safety Monitoring. A key focus of the technology will be proactive risk reduction, specifically targeting fall prevention, fall detection, and pressure injury prevention.

“Our priority is to deliver safe, high-quality care while supporting providers, nurses and care teams with the right technology to enable them to perform at the top of their license and do what they do best – care for people,” stated Lisa Dolan, MSN, RN, NEA BC, chief nursing officer at Ardent Health. “We’ve seen firsthand how virtual nursing can support our nurses and strengthen patient safety. Hellocare.ai enables us to extend care beyond the bedside, improve patient observation, and proactively reduce risk, all within a single, integrated platform.”

The partnership aims to create a unified virtual care infrastructure, streamlining workflows, facilitating real-time collaboration, and enabling scalable growth across Ardent Health’s network of hospitals and care sites. The platform integrates AI-powered monitoring with dedicated hardware and clinical integration to improve operational efficiency and reduce fragmentation of care.

According to FJ Campbell, MD, chief medical officer at Ardent Health, “Virtual care is a critical component of modern care delivery and one that will enhance the clinician and patient experience across the communities we serve. This partnership brings together virtual physician care, nursing, patient observation, and AI driven safety tools in a way that is clinically meaningful and operationally scalable across our organization.”

This deployment aligns with Ardent Health’s broader digital transformation strategy, which seeks to leverage intelligent automation and data-driven insights at the point of care. The integration of AI is intended to support, not replace, frontline healthcare workers, allowing them to focus on tasks requiring direct patient interaction and complex clinical judgment.

Labinot Bytyqi, Founder and CEO of hellocare.ai, emphasized Ardent Health’s commitment to responsible AI implementation. “Ardent Health understands that AI must be embedded into care delivery in a practical and clinically responsible way,” Bytyqi said. “Their leadership team is not pursuing isolated pilots. They are operationalizing intelligent virtual care across the organization to strengthen safety, support clinicians and drive measurable impact.”

hellocare.ai currently provides its AI-assisted virtual care solutions to over 100 health systems nationwide. The company’s platform offers a range of capabilities, including AI Assisted Virtual Nursing, Virtual Sitting, Patient Engagement tools, digital whiteboards, and remote patient monitoring, all designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

The increasing adoption of virtual care technologies reflects a growing need to address challenges within the healthcare system, including nursing shortages and the demand for improved patient safety. While virtual care is not a replacement for traditional, in-person care, it offers a valuable tool for extending the reach of healthcare professionals and enhancing the quality of care delivered. The use of AI-powered monitoring and predictive analytics holds the potential to proactively identify and mitigate risks, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes.

Ardent Health operates 30 acute care hospitals and nearly 280 sites of care across six states, serving a diverse patient population. The company’s focus on innovation and patient-centered care positions it as a leader in the evolving healthcare landscape. The partnership with hellocare.ai represents a significant step towards realizing the potential of AI to transform healthcare delivery and improve the lives of patients and providers alike.
