Experienced Healthcare Leader Joins UCSF
Brian Sinotte has been appointed president of the UCSF Health Network, part of san francisco-based UCSF Health, as announced on December 26, 2025, via a LinkedIn post by UCSF Health.
Mr. sinotte brings over 15 years of experience in successfully integrating academic medical centers with community health systems, a crucial skillset for navigating the evolving healthcare landscape.
Expanding UCSF’s Network Reach
In his new role, Mr. Sinotte will oversee the UCSF Health Network, which encompasses vital clinical partnerships across California. These partnerships include collaborations with John Muir Health in Walnut Creek, MarinHealth in Greenbrae, and Washington Health in Fremont. He will also be responsible for the system’s community hospitals and outpatient centers, ensuring coordinated care delivery.
Proven Leadership Background
Prior to joining UCSF, Mr. Sinotte served as market CEO of Northwest healthcare in Tucson, Arizona, where he provided leadership to four hospital CEOs and a team exceeding 4,000 professionals, according to his LinkedIn profile. Before that, he held the position of president at Ingalls memorial Hospital in Harvey, Illinois, and from 2019 to 2021, he was president of UChicago Medicine’s community health and hospital division.
