Arizona Wildcats Win Against Colorado Buffaloes
The Arizona Wildcats defeated the Colorado Buffaloes, winning all three sets: 25-20, 25-21, and 25-18. This victory marks Arizona’s fourth consecutive win.
Arizona’s offense recorded a hitting percentage of .275, while their defense held Colorado to just .099. Jaelyn Hodge led the Wildcats with 14 kills, and Jordan Wilson contributed 12 kills. Journey Tucker was notable on defense with six blocks, followed by Hodge with five.
In the first set, Arizona won 25-20, hitting .344. Hodge had six kills, and Wilson added four, supported by four blocks from the team. Kiari Robey had three blocks, helping limit Colorado’s hitting percentage to .111.
The second set ended 25-21, with Hodge and Wilson both scoring five kills. Carlie Cisneros added three kills. Despite Colorado’s 2.5 blocks, Arizona outperformed their offense to lead 2-0 in the match.
The Wildcats secured the third set 25-18. Alayna Johnson led the team with four kills, while Hodge and Wilson had three each. Tucker also recorded four blocks in this set. Arizona served three aces, including one from Johnson to clinch the match.
Next, the Wildcats will face Iowa State on Saturday, November 23, for senior day.
