Arkansas established a dominant lead early in the contest, scoring five runs in the top of the first inning. The rally began with Reagan Johnson, who led off the game with an infield single. Johnson advanced to second base after Brinli Bain drew a walk.
Following the walk, Ella McDowell hit a single to left field, which drove in Johnson to give the Razorbacks a 1-0 lead. The inning culminated in a significant play by senior infielder Karlie Davison, who hit a grand slam over the wall in left field to extend the lead to 5-0.
Program Record Set
The grand slam hit by Davison was the eighth of the season for the Razorbacks. This achievement established a new single-season program record, surpassing the previous high of seven grand slams recorded in 2022.
Scoring Progression
Arkansas continued to build its advantage in the third inning, adding three more runs to the scoreboard. The scoring in the third was supported by an RBI single from Atalyia Rijo and a two-run triple hit by Kailey Wyckoff.

Season Performance and Outlook
With the win over South Florida, the Arkansas Razorbacks improved their overall season record to 44-11. This victory also marked the team’s 23rd run-rule win of the season.
Arkansas will now face the winner of the matchup between Duke and Arizona. That contest is scheduled to take place next weekend at Bogle Park.
