November 30, 2024 Catherine Williams - Chief Editor News

On the night of Friday, November 29, armed civilians arrived at the ‘Emperador’ motel in Culiacán, Sinaloa. They set fire to the reception area. Reports state that the suspects evacuated most guests from their rooms and fired several shots. It is unclear if the shots were aimed at the motel, into the air, or at individuals.

Employees reportedly took shelter in the rooms to avoid harm. Currently, there are no reports of injuries or fatalities from the fire caused by the armed civilians.

The ‘Emperador’ motel is located on Federal Highway Mexico 15, in the Jardines del Humaya neighborhood, directly across from the San Martín Funeral Park in Culiacán.

Firefighters are currently on-site, working to extinguish the flames and prevent them from spreading. Their priority is to ensure the safety of all individuals present.
