‘Made in NY’ Awards ‍to Honor aronofsky, Buteau, Morgan

Darren Aronofsky, Michelle Buteau, Tracy Morgan, and Thomas J.O’Donnell, president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, ‍will receive ⁢”made in NY” awards, recognizing their contributions to New York City’s film and television industry. the Made in NY⁢ Awards,created in 2006 by the Mayor’s Office⁢ of Media and entertainment (MOME),celebrate artists who showcase New ⁢york City on screen and encourage‌ global audiences ​to visit,work,and live in the city. The awards highlight the importance of film and TV industry jobs in NYC.

Mayor Eric Adams and MOME⁤ Commissioner Pat Swinney ​kaufman will host the ceremony June 16 at Gracie Mansion, following the Tribeca Festival. Aronofsky will receive his award June 10 during a special Tribeca Festival ⁢presentation marking the 25th anniversary screening of “Requiem ‍for a Dream.” Earlier‍ this year, producer Celia Costas received a Made in NY⁣ award at the 45th Annual New York⁤ Women in Film ⁣& Television Muse awards.
