Arrests made after 100 juveniles reported fighting at Christiana Fashion Center | FOX 29 Philadelphia

Six juveniles were arrested following large-scale fights involving approximately 100 youths in the parking lot of the Christiana Fashion Center in Newark, Delaware, on May 16, 2026.
Delaware State Police responded to reports of the fighting around 6:30 p.m. On Saturday. According to police, several juveniles refused to comply when officers attempted to disperse the large crowd, leading to additional fights.
Among those taken into custody was a 15-year-old boy who police say attempted to evade arrest by running away. Officers deployed a Taser to bring the suspect into custody.
The 15-year-old was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. He was subsequently released on an unsecured bond of $1,101.
Five other juveniles were also arrested during the incident, including three 15-year-old boys, one 14-year-old boy, and one 13-year-old boy. These individuals were charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct and were released with criminal summons.
Police have not yet released the identities of the juvenile suspects or provided information regarding any injuries resulting from the fights.
