ASA Korea Membership, ‘1st Domestic and International Real Estate Evaluation Precedent Open Competition’ Successful: Patent News
ASA Korea Membership (Chairman Sangyong Lee, Real Estate Appraiser) announced that the ‘1st Domestic and International Real Estate Appraisal Precedent Open Competition’ held on August 30th was successfully concluded.
According to ‘ASA Korea Membership,’ the event was held on this day to respond to the innovative changes of the times such as the 4th Industrial Revolution and to vitalize the ‘real estate non-appraisal industry’, with real estate appraisers (Korea) and ASA (American Society of Appraisers) members disclosing their appraisal precedents on a confidential basis. There were heated presentations and discussions for 3 hours on various fields such as corporate value appraisal, business right appraisal, unlisted stock appraisal, intellectual property right (patents, trademarks, copyrights, data, etc.) appraisal, and technology appraisal.
‘ASA Korea Membership’ also added that it will establish a decision-making body, the ‘Corporate and Intellectual Property Committee’, and will continue to hold an open competition for ‘Domestic and Overseas Real Estate Valuation Precedents’ every year in the future, as well as promote various projects such as policy suggestions.
‘ASA Korea Membership’ is an organization that was launched on January 1 of this year to promote the rapid growth and development of the ‘non-real estate appraisal industry’ as about 30 real estate appraisers have acquired ASA Membership through the efforts of many organizations including the former and current executives, training committee, international committee, appraisal standards committee, appraisal training institute, and appraisal standards center of the Korea Association of Real Estate Appraisers (KAPA) over the years.
For reference, the American Society of Appraisers (ASA / www.appraisers.org) is an American society of appraisers specializing in ‘non-real estate appraisals’.
