The Asan City Welfare Center for the Disabled (Director Jeong-moon Yoon) of the Korea Association for the Physically Disabled operates the Smile Badminton Club to improve the health and leisure activities of the disabled.
The Smile Badminton Club will be operated at the Asan City Sports Center for the Disabled as part of the 2024 Disabled Living Sports Club Development Project with financial support from the Chungcheongnam-do Sports Association for the Disabled and the Asan City Sports Association for the Disabled.
The Smile Badminton Club (Chairman Ahn Jae-hyeon) is open to anyone with disabilities and their families, and is working to create an environment where people with disabilities can exercise happily by communicating with each other and sharing fun through badminton.
Chairman Ahn Jae-hyeon said, “I am grateful to the city officials and the Asan City Sports Association for the Disabled for creating good facilities so that our disabled people can enjoy badminton and improve their health in a comfortable space all year round,” and added, “We will work harder to make the club a happy club for the disabled.” did it
Meanwhile, the Smile Badminton Club is active every Wednesday and Thursday at the Asan Sports Center for the Disabled from 2 PM to 5 PM.
