TNA wrestler Ash By Elegance has provided new details regarding the complex health issues that led to her brief in-ring retirement in 2025. While she has returned to competition, Elegance confirms that her medical situation remains ongoing as she prepares for a return match at TNA Rebellion on April 11 in her hometown of Cleveland.

Elegance originally stepped away from professional wrestling at TNA Victory Road in September 2025. During that event, she vacated the Knockouts Championship, stating at the time that she was no longer able to compete.

Although she returned to action in January 2026, recent interviews reveal that the underlying health condition has not been fully resolved. Speaking to the Generation of Wrestling podcast, Elegance clarified that her struggle is a health issue rather than a typical wrestling injury.

A Medical Mystery

Elegance described her condition as difficult to diagnose, noting that she does not always look sick to outside observers. She explained that while she may feel well on one day, she may not feel the same the following day.

My issue is weird. They call it like a medical mystery. I’ve done so many things, I spent numerous days in the ICU that nobody really knows about because I haven’t put that out there yet until I honestly can find out really what this is. We’re on a good track now.

The wrestler further revealed that the original health problem that forced her into retirement in 2025 has trickled into her current condition. She believes these developments are all contributing to a single diagnosis, though she has chosen not to disclose the specific nature of the illness until it is officially confirmed.

Despite the ongoing medical uncertainty, Elegance has been cleared to compete. However, she admitted that her body occasionally goes a little wonky, making some aspects of competing difficult.

In an appearance on BCP+, Elegance acknowledged that the last couple of weeks leading up to April 6, 2026, have been shaky regarding her health. She emphasized that she is motivated and determined to push through these challenges, stating that wrestling serves as the primary drive for her to get better.

To address public speculation surrounding her hiatus and health, Elegance has also shut down pregnancy rumors.
