Their journey together began with Jis Joy’s film Sunday Holiday in 2017, which received positive reviews from the audience. They also acted together in Trisshivaperur Kliptham, released the same year. The following year, they were paired in the film Tech.
Four years later, they reunited with the film Kappa, where Aparna appeared as Prithviraj’s heroine. Asif played Anna’s husband Ben in the film. Later, they acted together in the 2018 film. Kishkindha Kandam is the latest film to reunite Aparna and Asif, receiving rave reviews and packed houses in theaters.
Asif Ali recently spoke about his friend Aparna Balamurali, expressing his pride in her success. He mentioned that he feels happy to see Aparna acting with prominent actors like Suriya and Dhanush.
“I feel incredibly proud. Aparna goes and does films in Tamil. Doing films with people like Suriya and Dhanush. People talk about her. All the reviews talk about her performance. My wife and I always say. It’s nice to hear people talk about people who are so close to us on a personal level,” says Asif Ali.
