Astro Bot Blasts off with Game of the Year Win at The Game Awards
Los Angeles, CA – In a night celebrating the pinnacle of gaming achievement, Astro Bot, the charming platformer developed by Team Asobi and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, took home the coveted Game of the Year award at The Game Awards’ 10th Anniversary Gala Celebration.
The star-studded event,held at the Peacock Theater,saw Astro Bot triumph over a stellar lineup of nominees including Balatro,Black Myth Wukong,Metaphor: ReFantazio,and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The adorable robot hero also snagged awards for Best Family game and Best Game Direction, solidifying its place as a standout title of 2024.
