Asuka and Jey Uso secured their spots in the semifinals of the WWE king and Queen of the Ring tournaments after victories on Monday Night Raw.
Asuka made her return to action, winning a Fatal 4-Way match against Ivy Nile, Raquel Rodriguez, and Stephanie Vaquer to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament. rhea Ripley interfered, attacking Rodriguez, which allowed Asuka to capitalize and win.
In the men’s King of the Ring tournament, Jey Uso, a surprise entrant still affected by his WWE World Heavyweight Title loss, defeated Bronson Reed, Rusev, and Sheamus. LA Knight distracted Reed, enabling Uso to secure the victory.
The King and Queen of the Ring tournament continues with Randy Orton facing Sami Zayn, and Cody rhodes battling Jey Uso in the semifinals. Asuka will face Alexa Bliss, and Jade Cargill will compete against Roxanne Perez on the women’s side. The winners will compete for championship matches at WWE SummerSlam.
