Raffaele Palladino Appointed as Atalanta Coach
Atalanta have appointed Raffaele Palladino as their new head coach. The former
Monza and Fiorentina coach will lead the team, with his first match scheduled
against defending champions Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on
november 22, 2023.
Palladino will be supported by a new coaching staff including assistant manager
Stefano Citterio, coaching staff Federico peluso, fitness coaches Fabio
Corabi and Nicola Riva, and match analysts Andrea Ramponi and Mattia Casella.
However,Palladino has also retained several members of the existing staff,
including Cristian Raimondi,Marco Savorani,Sabino Oliva,Marcello Iaia,
Stefano Brambilla, and Andrea Vigni. This blend of new and familiar faces
suggests a strategy of building upon existing strengths while introducing fresh
ideas.

Palladino most recently coached Fiorentina at the end of the previous season.
His appointment at Atalanta marks a return to Serie A management for the
Italian coach.
