Audi Unveils E7X in China: New Model Debuts with Photos – iAuto News

The AUDI E7X, the second production model from Audi’s China-exclusive sister brand AUDI, has been officially revealed ahead of its world premiere at the Auto China 2026 motor show in Beijing. The vehicle is set to debut from April 24 to May 3, 2026, marking a key step in Audi’s electrification strategy for the Chinese market.

Developed through the SAIC-Audi joint venture, the AUDI E7X is a fully electric premium SUV tailored to Chinese customers. It combines Audi’s technological expertise with SAIC’s innovations in China’s digital ecosystem. The model will be available in two powertrain variants: a rear-wheel-drive version with a single e-motor producing 300 kW (402 hp) and an all-wheel-drive variant with a combined output of 500 kW (670 hp).

The AWD variant enables a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.97 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h. All models are equipped with CATL battery cells, featuring a 109 kWh capacity that delivers a range of 751 km. The vehicle rides on an all-aluminium chassis and includes the quattro intelligent all-wheel drive system on the AWD version.

Exterior dimensions of the AUDI E7X are 5,049 mm in length, 2,002 mm in width, and 1,708 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. We see available with 21-inch or 22-inch optional wheels. The design features clean surfaces, characteristic light graphics at the front and rear, and an upright front with digital Matrix LED headlights vertically arranged in a black wraparound loop. Powerfully sculpted wheel arches and short overhangs emphasize its dynamic character.

The cabin offers a five-seater layout with a fascia featuring the “ring light surface” design and million-pixel DLP high-definition digital projection headlights. The vehicle includes an illuminated logo, distinguishing LED elements with a dot pattern, and wheel rims with counterweights to keep the AUDI inscription upright. The AUDI E7X carries forward the expressive design language of the AUDI E SUV concept unveiled at Auto Guangzhou 2025.

Audi’s China-focused “AUDI” brand was launched in November 2024 and currently sells the AUDI E5 Sportback, a sleek wagon recognized as the “2026 China Car of the Year.” The E7X represents the brand’s second model and underscores Audi’s commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup in China through localized development and production.
