C3 Presents Prepares Zilker Park for Storms
Organizers faced challenging weather conditions ahead of the opening weekend. Festival organizer C3 Presents told local Austin news station KVUE that proactive preparations were underway at Zilker Park, including clearing drains, prepositioning equipment, and accelerating the setup schedule to safeguard the park against stormy weather.
Lineups vary between the two weekends of the festival. Kings of Leon take the place of Skrillex for the second weekend, while Brandon Flowers, CMAT, and Rebecca Black appear exclusively on the bill for the opening weekend.
