Hill’s 2024 campaign was a testament to his consistency and speed. He secured a series-high four victories,bringing his total to an impressive 10 over the past three years. His winning streak at Daytona continued, with Hill claiming victory in the season opener for the third consecutive year.
A Season of Ups and Downs
Despite his impressive stats – four wins, 11 top-5 finishes, and 20 top-10s – Hill’s season wasn’t without its challenges.After a blistering start that saw him finish no worse than eighth in the first six races, including two wins, Hill experienced a mid-season slump. Over a 10-race stretch, he finished outside the top 10 in seven events.
“We had some really strong runs early on,” Hill said. “But we definitely hit a rough patch in the middle of the season. We had to dig deep and figure some things out.”
Looking Ahead to 2025
Hill remains committed to Richard Childress Racing for the 2025 season, resolute to finally capture the elusive Xfinity series championship. With his talent, experience, and the support of his team, hill is poised to be a major contender once again.
“We’re going to learn from our mistakes this year and come back even stronger in 2025,” Hill said. ”My goal is to win that championship, and I believe we have everything it takes to do it.”

Austin Hill: Thanks. It was definately a season of ups and downs, but we learned a lot and accomplished some great things.
NewsDirectory3.com: You mentioned ups and downs. You experienced a mid-season slump that saw you finish outside the top 10 in seven out of ten races. How did you and the team overcome that challenge?
Austin Hill: We definitely hit a rough patch. It forced us to dig deep, analyze our performance, and make some adjustments. Credit to my crew chief Andy Street and the entire Richard childress Racing team. We worked tirelessly and found solutions to get us back on track.

Austin Hill: Reaching the Championship 4 was a huge accomplishment for me and the team. It showed how competitive we are and our ability to perform under pressure. While we didn’t get the result we wanted, it’s a motivating factor as we head into 2025.

Austin Hill: My goal remains the same – win the Xfinity Series championship. We’ve been getting closer each year, and I truly believe we have all the pieces in place to make it happen in 2025. I’m excited to get back behind the wheel and give it everything I’ve got.
