Puig Claims First DP World Tour Title in Brisbane
David Puig, a 23-year-old Spaniard who also competes on the LIV Golf Tour, secured victory at the Australian PGA Championship in Brisbane on November 24, 2024, becoming the first Spanish winner since seve Ballesteros in 1981. This marks Puig’s first title on the DP World Tour, adding to his two previous professional wins on the Asian Tour in 2023 and 2024. His best prior finish on the DP World Tour was third place at the Ras Al Khaimah Championship in January 2024. DP World Tour

“It feels amazing,” Puig stated after his win. “I’ve really had a lot of close calls in a few events throughout this year and last year and I wasn’t able to pull it through.
