Starting July 1, administrative fees for various documents and services rose significantly. The increase, averaging 48.2%, reflects inflation adjustments ⁣as⁢ 2011. A standard adult passport now costs ‍€112,⁤ up from €75.90. Similarly, a driver’s ⁢license now costs €90, and an ID card is €91. Applying for‍ Austrian citizenship now costs €163. The government anticipates an additional €150 million in annual revenue⁢ from these changes.
