Wang Huadong Puts Forward Requirements for Implementation in Our City

On the morning of September 24, a provincial video conference on production safety and forest and grassland fire prevention and extinguishing in autumn and winter was held. Wang Huadong, secretary of the municipal party committee and mayor, Yao Ke, Liang Longyi, Liu Jiahong, municipal leaders, Guo Hailei, secretary general of the municipal government, and Fang Liangcai, secretary of the party committee and chairman of Huaibei Mining Group, listened to and watched the meeting at the Huaibei branch venue.

After the provincial meeting, Wang Huadong emphasized the importance of work safety and forest fire prevention and control, stating that they are related to the safety of people’s lives and property, and the overall stability of economic and social development. He pointed out that all levels and departments should thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work safety, adhere to the people-first and life-first principle, conscientiously implement the spirit of the provincial meeting, make every effort to eliminate hidden dangers, ensure safety, and maintain stability.

Wang Huadong also stressed the need to improve the political position, deepen ideological understanding, always tighten the safety production string, transform the sense of responsibility of “always worrying” into the action of “having a clear mind about everything”, go all out to do a good job in safety production and forest fire prevention and control, and resolutely prevent safety risks and prevent major accidents. He emphasized the importance of focusing on key areas, key industries, special nodes, and key points, taking the initiative, commanding from the front, deepening the investigation and rectification of risk hazards, carrying out the three-year action plan for the root cause of safety production, deeply learning the lessons of accidents, and resolutely guarding the bottom line of safety production.
