Special exhibition tours focused on themes such as prevention and AI in elderly care, exploring both potential, and limitations.

According to Olav Sehlbach from the Care Venture Circle, the sector is experiencing a paradigm shift where artificial intelligence has moved beyond vision to become a practical tool. Examples include systems for early detection of pressure ulcers through continuous tissue monitoring and applications that automatically document admission interviews and convert them into care plans.

AI-based communication solutions designed to activate users or combat loneliness were also on display. The AVENEO Newcomer Challenge further highlighted this development, with 18 nominated projects showing a clear trend toward AI-assisted applications.
