Avicii’s new documentary and final concert to be released on Netflix on Tuesday, December 31st – Avicii

Avicii: I’m Tim is a new documentary about Sweden’s leading music producer Avicii, who passed away at the young age of 28 on April 20, 2018, and the dance music mecca Avicii released in August 2016. Two productions of his last concert “Avicii: My Last Show” in Ibiza, Spain will be available on Netflix on December 31, 2024 It has been announced that it will be released on (Tuesday).

Avicii: I’m Tim is a new documentary directed by Henrik Burman and produced by Björn Tjärnberg that uses Avicii’s voice during his lifetime as the narration, revealing previously untold aspects of his inner life. The film follows his journey from childhood to global stardom through the people close to him, including his family, fellow artists, and close friends. This is Avicii’s second film, following the documentary Avicii: True Stories, which was released in Japan in 2017, and his first since his death.

Avicii: My Last Show was Avicii’s last performance, held in August 2016 at the club music mecca Ushuaïa Ibiza in Ibiza, Spain. He issued a statement in March of the same year canceling his tour.

Swedish producer Avicii (real name: Tim Bergling) gained attention with his 2011 release “Levels,” and his song “Wake Me Up” released in 2013 sold 1 on the iTunes Store in 84 countries and regions around the world. Since then, they have continued to produce worldwide hits such as “Waiting for Love” and “Without You,” constantly rewriting the history of dance music around the world. Avicii passed away on April 20, 2018 at the young age of 28, but the songwriters who inherited Avicii’s wishes and his family, who decided not to suppress his music, decided to share it with fans around the world. Wish, an album titled “TIM” was released on June 6, 2019.

He has held performances in Japan in the past, and his popularity in Japan shows no signs of slowing down. From January to October 2024, the total number of views in Japan has been recorded 430 million times, and the total number of views to date. has been viewed over 3.2 billion times.
