The visit, detailed in a statement from Awang tengah’s office, is a crucial component of Sarawak’s ongoing engagement strategy, coinciding with the broader Sarawak Connects Fair held in Balikpapan.

A pivotal moment of the delegation’s visit was a symbolic tree planting ceremony at Plaza Bhineka. Deputy Premier Awang Tengah planted a commemorative tree, a gesture signifying the strengthening and enduring partnership between Sarawak and Nusantara.
