Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of madrid, recently held a meeting with Argentine President Javier Milei during his controversial visit to Spain. The meeting took place as Milei participated in the Madrid Economic Forum at the vistalegre Palace.
The argentine president shared a photo on X, formerly twitter, showing himself with Ayuso, but provided no further details regarding the brief encounter. This visit marks Milei’s third trip to Spain.
Ayuso previously awarded Milei the International Medal of the Community of Madrid on June 21, 2024, praising his “firmness and courage” in implementing policies in Argentina. She also cautioned against “totalitarian projects” that oppose freedom.
