Around‍ 9 a.m. on​ Wednesday, December 11th, the riorges Fire Department received ‌a frantic call reporting ‌a two-month-old baby choking on a bottle.

The baby girl had experienced ⁣a false ⁤route, a terrifying ⁣situation where food or liquid enters the airway rather of the‍ esophagus.

“It was​ a very scary moment,” said a neighbor who wished to remain anonymous. “I heard the parents screaming and rushed over to see if I‌ could ⁣help.”

Fortunately, the parents were able to follow the instructions given by the 911 dispatcher, helping the baby regain normal breathing before the fire department arrived.

Upon arrival, paramedics found the infant in good health⁢ and breathing normally. She was left in the care of her relieved parents.
