Li Yang and Wang Qilin Reunite for Taipei Badminton Open

(Central News Agency reporter Li Jianzhong, Taipei, 2nd) At the Taipei Badminton Open, which starts tomorrow, Paris Olympic men’s doubles gold medalists Li Yang and Wang Qilin will compete together in Taiwan. Li Yang smiled and said: “Today is the first time we are practicing together since the Olympics. I hope we can improve the game.”

After Li Yang and Wang Qilin teamed up to win back-to-back Olympic badminton men’s doubles gold medals, they decided to split due to different career plans, while Wang Qilin and his new partner Qi Xiangjuan remained.
