Key to the design is the use of cobogós – decorative concrete blocks common in Brazilian modernist architecture, especially in Bahia. These blocks allow for natural ventilation and create a stunning play of light and shadow. The home also features a prominent, sloped roof reminiscent of traditional Bahian houses, providing shade and contributing to the overall aesthetic.
