BBM ‌quality Assured by Minister

Accompanied by pertamina’s ⁢President Director, ⁤Simon‌ Aloysius⁣ Mantiri, Bahlil affirmed that ⁢the BBM ⁢from the state-owned enterprise is of good quality‌ and safe ​for public consumption.

According to Bahlil:

Kita mengecek ‍dan semuanya dengan teknologi, dengan laboratorium⁣ rata-rata semuanya di dalam batas aturan di atas ⁣725. Ini⁤ membuktikan bahwa kualitas BBM‌ yang⁣ disiapkan Pertamina‍ sangat baik dan aman untuk digunakan oleh masyarakat.

Translation: “We checked everything wiht technology, with the laboratory, and on average,⁣ everything ⁤is within ⁣the regulatory limits above 725. This proves that the‍ BBM quality prepared by pertamina is very ⁣good and ⁢safe for public use.”

Rigorous Testing Procedures

Representatives from ⁣the Balai Besar Pengujian ‍Minyak dan⁤ Gas Lemigas (Lemigas Oil and Gas Testing ⁤Center) also attended the BBM quality check. Laboratory technology was employed⁢ to guarantee ⁢that the‍ distributed BBM meets the established quality standards.

Bahlil clarified that the ⁤standards exceed the threshold set by the Director General of Oil and Gas Decree regarding the‌ standards and quality of BBM marketed domestically. The standard for the specific gravity of fuel oil tested at ‌15°C⁣ is set between 715 kg/m3 as a minimum ‌value and 770 kg/m3 as a maximum value.

Fuel ​Availability⁣ During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr

Beyond guaranteeing quality, bahlil also assured that there is sufficient BBM availability to meet the surge in demand expected ‍during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. he emphasized that the ⁣ BBM stock, including Pertalite, Pertamax, and Pertamax Turbo, is in a secure condition, with a supply resilience ⁣of 20 to 21⁣ days.

Bahlil stated:

Kami telah mengecek untuk wilayah Jawa barat dan Banten untuk BBM. Untuk BBM baik Pertamax, Pertalite dan Turbo semuanya clear, ​masanya ⁤sampai dengan 20 sampai dengan 21 hari. Jadi ketersediaan kita ​sangat luar biasa sekali.

Translation: “We‌ have​ checked the BBM supply for West Java and Banten. For⁣ BBM, both Pertamax, Pertalite, and‍ Turbo are all clear, lasting up ⁢to 20 to ‌21 days. ‌So our availability is truly remarkable.”

Projected Demand Increase

Data from PT Pertamina (Persero) indicates a projected increase in gasoline demand ⁣of approximately 7% from normal conditions, with a significant surge ⁤of 21%⁢ (Pertalite and Pertamax Series) from⁢ H-7 (7 ​days before) to Hari H (the ⁢day of), and⁣ peak demand is expected to occur on H-2 (2 ⁣days before) with a 33% increase.

He ⁣added,
