Toyota Dominates First Practice at 8 Hours of Bahrain

Teh first practice session for the 8 Hours of Bahrain, a key round of the 2025 World Endurance Championship (WEC), saw Toyota lock out the top two positions. The #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid, piloted by Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and Nyck de Vries, set the fastest lap time. The #8 toyota GR010 Hybrid followed closely behind.
Alpine’s #36 A424, driven by Frédéric Makowiecki, Jules Gounon, and Mick Schumacher, secured third place. Porsche’s #5 963, with Julien Andlauer, Mathieu Jaminet, and Laurin Heinrich at the wheel, finished 10th. BMW’s best effort came from the #20 BMW M Hybrid V8,driven by Sheldon van der Linde,René Rast,and Robin Frijns,in 13th. The two cadillac V-Series.R entries from Cadillac Team JOTA concluded the session in 16th and 17th positions.
