Market analysis by Prachachat Thurakit reveals that the baht opened the market at 33.60 baht per US dollar and continued to strengthen throughout the day, touching 33.65 baht per US dollar at its peak. The Kasikorn Research Center has also reported that the baht closed at 33.65 baht per US dollar, with the strengthening attributed to dollar selling pressure. The online manager noted that the baht’s strength is a result of a weak US dollar, following the release of lower-than-expected US labor numbers.
