Julian Benson, a man whose life Cyril Stapleton once sang was "made for dancing," had a promise to keep. Diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (CF) at age two, Julian outlived his initial life expectancy by decades, and now, he’s giving back to the community that’s supported him.

His family’s late in-laws,Maura and Michael, were a constant source of love and care, inspiring Julian to start The Julian Benson CF Foundation in 2018. Four years later, the foundation purchased a grandeur house in Rathgar, with a vision to turn it into a modern, comfortable, and affordable home away from home for CF patients and their families undergoing treatment in Dublin.

Enter Dermot Bannon, the architect known for his no-nonsense approach to budgets and a heart of gold.
