Today, October 6, 2023, paramount officially announced its acquisition of Bari Weiss’s The Free Press. Concurrently,Weiss was named editor-in-Chief of CBS News.
Paramount CEO David Ellison announced the news in a note to all staffers, which was obtained by CNN.
