Bassey talks about his artistic beginnings: “I didn’t teach music, and my first salary was 15
Bassey, a singer, shared details about her career beginnings during an interview with Muhammad Qais on the “I Have a Question” podcast. She discussed her first job with a music band led by Hossam Abu Al-Saud, which performed at weddings in Deir Najm, near Zagazig. In her early days, she sang a song for Sherin, inspired by her admiration for the artist.
Bassey revealed that she has no formal music education and gained experience through theater. Her first salary was £15, which she earned during a year with the band.
