‘Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League’ Sets Max Release Date

The anime sequel Batman Ninja Vs. Yakuza League will be available on Max starting July 3, Warner Bros. Finding
announced. This new installment revisits the Dark Knight’s adventures through a Japanese anime lens.
A follow-up to the 2018 film Batman Ninja, the movie sees Batman returning to feudal Japan. There, he must
battle the Yakuza League, a dangerous group formed from corrupted versions of his former allies. He finds a land
consumed by warring Yakuza clans, where brutality has replaced honor.
Jumpei Mizusaki, who directed Batman Ninja, returns alongside Shinji Takagi (Steamboy) to direct.
Kazuki Nakashima, a veteran screenwriter and novelist, wrote the screenplay. Character designs are by Takashi Okazaki,
and the music is composed by Yugo Kanno.
The voice cast includes Koichi Yamadera as Batman, yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan) as Robin, and Kengo Kawanishi
(Kaiju No. 8) as Red robin.
