Batumi,Georgia,once again served as a central location for youth table tennis,hosting the⁢ WTT Youth Contender Batumi 2025. The event welcomed approximately 160 players representing⁢ 20 member ⁢associations.‍ This year’s edition marks the fourth‍ time ‍Georgia has hosted a WTT Youth Series stage ⁤and is the largest to date.

ITTF President Petra Sörling attended the event and⁣ participated in the opening ceremony alongside⁣ several distinguished guests, including:

  • Maia Khajishvili, Minister of Education and Sport of Adjara
  • Pedro ‍Moura, President ⁢of the European Table Tennis union
  • Guram Gogoladze, President of the Georgian Table ⁣Tennis Federation

The WTT Youth Contender batumi 2025 was ‍organized by ‍World Table Tennis and the Georgian Table Tennis⁤ Federation. Support for the event was provided by the Ministry of Sport of Georgia and the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
