Sag Harbor, NY – Bay Street Theater has announced an Equity Principal Actors audition for its 2026 season, scheduled for . The audition will take place from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at the theater located at 1 Bay St, Sag Harbor, NY 11963-0022.
The audition is for roles in the theater’s 2026 (LORT) season, and Bay Street Theater welcomes performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, abilities, and body types. The theater specifically encourages applications from actors of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds, as well as transgender and non-binary performers. Local actors are also encouraged to attend.
The contract offered will be a LORT Non-Rep contract with a weekly minimum of $1,051.00 (LORT C). Will Pomerantz, Associate Artistic Director, and John Sullivan, Associate Producer, are expected to be in attendance.
Actors auditioning are asked to prepare a contemporary monologue, no longer than two minutes in length. Those wishing to demonstrate singing skill should also prepare a brief cut of a song, no longer than one minute, in the legit, contemporary musical theater, or classical style. Pop or rock songs are discouraged. Headshots and resumes should be brought, stapled together.
