Baystate Ob/Gyn Group Expands Women’s Health Services in Western MA

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Baystate Ob/Gyn Group (BOGG) is increasing its capacity to provide thorough women’s health services, welcoming Katherine “Kat” Cummings, Garima Devi, and Dr. Erin Eppsteiner to its practice. The group also plans to add more providers later in 2025.
Cummings, a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializes in sexual and reproductive health. She focuses on clear communication and empathetic care, with a practice rooted in health equity, wellness promotion, and reproductive justice. Her interests include family planning, infection screening, LGBTQIA+ health, and preventive care.
devi, also a board-certified nurse practitioner, brings years of experience in women’s health, having previously worked as a registered nurse in New York. “My goal is to provide high-quality care for women at different stages of the lifespan,” Devi said,”by putting an emphasis on preventive care and education.”
Dr. Eppsteiner has worked in obstetrics and gynecology since 2009. Her expertise includes routine gynecological exams, complex pregnancies, and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic surgery.She also has a subspecialty in vulvar disease.
“I enjoy getting to know my patients and learning about their goals,” Eppsteiner said, “so I can best educate them and address their concerns. My aim is to ensure that women understand their bodies and leave the office feeling confident to make the best decisions surrounding their healthcare.”
What’s next
BOGG will welcome an additional ob/gyn physician and three certified nurse midwives later this year. A new office is scheduled to open in Agawam in the fall, supplementing existing locations in Springfield, Longmeadow, and South Hadley.
