Respect for Officials
There has been an alarming rise in abuse towards Officials:
- 16 Red Cards and 6 Citings
- 11 incidents of Player and Referee abuse
BC Rugby’s ZERO TOLERANCE policy prohibits abuse of any kind. The BC Rugby Code of Conduct applies to all participants, coaches, management, and parents. Respect for Officials, Therapists, Medics, Staff, and Volunteers is essential.
Game Cancellations and Defaults
Every effort should be made to play scheduled matches. If a cancellation is necessary:
- Notify opponents and BC Rugby ASAP.
- Timely communication is crucial for mutual respect and organizing efforts.
Refer to Section 5 of the BC Rugby Senior Rules of Competition and Section 5 of the BC Rugby Age-Grade Rules of Competition for match conduct protocols.
Submission of Game-On Forms
Complete and submit all Game Defaulting and Game On Variation Forms at least 24 hours before the fixture. Late submissions may lead to penalties.
Thank you for your cooperation in creating a respectful and organized playing environment for everyone involved.
