Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is the new global ambassador for Beats by Dre. the audio brand launched the partnership with a video campaign, “Run the Track,” filmed in Manchester. The campaign highlights Mainoo’s connection to music and his hometown pride.
The video offers a glimpse into mainoo’s training, underscored by Nemzzz’s track “ABC.” Mainoo sports Powerbeats Pro 2 headphones, while Nemzzz is seen wearing Beats Studio Pro. This partnership places Mainoo alongside athletes like Lamine Yamal,Erling Haaland,and LeBron James in Beats campaigns.
“Ever since I was a kid, music has been a big part of my life! Nowadays, I have specific playlists to get me in the zone for different moments in my life, like staying locked in during training, or getting ready for a big game.I’ve always been a huge fan of beats, so I’m really excited to be able to work together,” Kobbie Mainoo said.
Chris Thorne, chief marketing officer and head of product at Beats, said the company is delighted to welcome Mainoo to the Beats family. He added that the film reflects Mainoo’s deep connection to music.
