Lynch initially signed with WWE in 2013, performing in NXT before debuting on the main roster in 2015. she has held the SmackDown women’s Championship five times and the Raw Women’s championship four times. She became the first woman to hold both titles simultaneously, a feat she accomplished at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Prior to signing her latest contract, Lynch took a hiatus from WWE following her SummerSlam 2022 match against Bianca belair to focus on her pregnancy. She returned to the ring at SummerSlam 2023.
