Sharjah-based BEEAH Group, initially known for waste management, has announced its expansion into the real estate sector. Group CEO Khaled Al Huraimel said the move marks a ”natural evolution” for the company, building on its work in clean energy, technology, and healthcare. The company’s entry comes as Sharjah’s property market experiences growth, with real estate transactions up 31.9% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year.
BEEAH’s first project will be a “first-of-its-kind” development in the region, according to Nada Taryam, CEO of Real Estate at BEEAH. While specific details are under wraps, the development will incorporate AI-powered building management systems to regulate lighting, cooling, and energy use, similar to those already in use at BEEAH’s LEED Platinum-certified headquarters, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
Al Huraimel emphasized that the project aims to establish a new benchmark for sustainable living, integrating technologies and expertise from across BEEAH’s operations. These include green mobility solutions from ION, digital logistics and recycling services from re.life, and supply chain technologies from EVOTEQ.

BEEAH plans to collaborate with partners in architecture, engineering, mobility, energy, and smart systems. The company’s healthcare venture, the Jawaher Boston Medical District, already leverages expertise from US medical institutions. The real estate developments will prioritize human experience through green mobility solutions, car-free zones and wellness integration, Taryam said.
While initially focused on the UAE market, BEEAH has ambitions for international expansion, leveraging its existing waste management operations in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Al Huraimel said the company aims to export a proven framework for sustainable, smart urban living.
“Our vision is to build sustainable, smart cities of the future — places that incorporate sustainability and innovation where people can experience exceptional living in harmony with nature,” Taryam said.
What’s next
In the coming weeks, BEEAH is expected to unveil more details about its first real estate project, offering a glimpse into its vision for sustainable, smart urban living and its potential impact on the region’s property market.
