Tragic ⁣Family Shooting: Ex-Husband’s Jealousy Turns Deadly

A devastating‌ incident occurred in Khon Kaen, ​Thailand, where ‌a former‌ husband, fueled by⁤ jealousy, shot and killed four people, including his ex-wife, ex-mother-in-law, and a relative, in front of ⁤their​ 2-year-old child.

Investigation and Scene Description

Police Lieutenant Colonel Phongphichit Thanaphanpakdee, Deputy Superintendent (Investigation) of Manchakiri Police Station, reported that the‍ incident occurred at a single-storey 2-bedroom⁣ house in​ Kham Pom Subdistrict, Phon Phek Subdistrict, Manchakiri Township, Khon ⁣Kaen.

Upon inspection, the bodies of‌ Mrs. Charuayphon (grandmother Chan), 50, Mrs. Klita (Mew), 28,⁢ Mr. Noppadon‍ Ansaksala, 40, and⁤ Mr. Phonphiphat Thongyot (Bass), 18, were found. The 2-year-old daughter of Mr. Noppadon⁤ and Mrs. Mew was found shaken but alive next to her mother’s body.

Family Members Reveal Tragic Cause

Ms. Orn Pangrit, 68, grandmother of the‍ victims, revealed that the incident was ⁣likely caused by jealousy. Mrs. Mew had previously ‌been in a relationship with⁢ Mr. Noppadon, but they broke up, and she later ​married another man. Mr. Noppadon, however, ‍continued to follow ‍her and beg for reconciliation.

According to relatives, Mr. Noppadon ⁢was ​known to​ be physically abusive and controlling. He did not like his ex-wife to interact with other‍ men, and their ⁤arguments often turned violent.

Neighbor’s Account and Police Investigation

Mrs. Amporn Chaokudrang, 56, a ​neighbor, reported hearing eight gunshots, followed by two more shots about ‍10‌ minutes later. She immediately informed the village⁣ chief, who discovered the four bodies.

Colonel Phichai Nakhandee, Superintendent of Manchakhiri Police Station, stated that the initial investigation revealed that Mr. Noppadon’s jealousy was the motive behind the shooting. He had discovered that ‍his ex-wife had a new husband, leading to a fit of rage and the​ tragic events that followed.
