A source revealed in “Yalla Koura” today, Thursday, that the board of directors of Emirates Pyramid rejected the proposal submitted by Getafe Club due to poor financial compensation, which neither the club nor the player deserves.
The source added that the Spanish offer reached Pyramid’s administration three days ago, as negotiations were still ongoing as of the early hours of this morning.
The source indicated that the player approached Pyramids Club sporting director Hani Saeed, asking him to convince the club’s management and owners, led by Emirati Salem Al Shamsi, to approve the proposal.
The source – who preferred to remain anonymous – noted that Ibrahim Adel traveled to Spain in anticipation of Pyramid Management approving the proposal and also due to time constraints.
The move comes from the player to prepare for a medical before the registration window closes in Spain tomorrow, Friday.
The player took advantage of the trip, especially after taking time off to get married, with the aim of breaking into the first team and returning to his club after the next international break.
Ibrahim Adel – 23 years old – has a contract with the Pyramids until the summer of 2029, as he is considered one of the stars of the “heavenly” team since his contract with Al-Merekh at the beginning of 2018.
Ibrahim Adel performed exceptionally well with the Egyptian Olympic team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he scored three goals, two against the Spanish national team and one against the Paraguayan national team.
