Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office Investigates Jinghua City Case

(Central News Agency reporter Lin Changshun, Taipei, the 19th) The Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office today investigated the case of Jinghua City, which again questioned the Taipei City Military Service Director as a defendant for bribery for the third time to clarify the bribery of Taipei City Councilor Ying Xiaowei and other matters.

An investigation by the anti-corruption prosecutor revealed that Shen Qingjing was suspected of paying more than NT$47.4 million in bribes to Ying Xiaowei to pass the Jinghua City Capacity Case, and the whereabouts of other funds were unknown. Prosecutors arrested Ying Xiaowei and interviewed Shen Qingjing, and the court ruled in late August that the two had been detained without permission to see them.

Ko Wenzhe was accused in May of using NT$43 million in election subsidies to buy a private commercial office owned by the company’s Zhu Yahu, and Zhu Yahu, a former Weiwei official, has some ties to Shen Qingjing, chairman of Dingyu Development, a subsidiary of Beijing Group. There are intersections.

The prosecutor suspected that Zhu Yahu was employed by Shen Qingjing to help manage the affairs of Jinghua City, and also found records of relevant conversations between Zhu Yahu and Ying Xiaoyi that involved managing cash flows related to Zhu Yahu for Shen Qingjing and other suspicions.

The prosecutor today summoned Zhu Yahu as a defendant to explain again, and submitted Shen Qingjing is being interrogated in custody.

In addition, DPP Taipei City Councilor Hong Jianyi recently broke the news that Zhu Yahoo personally wrote a love letter to former People’s Party legislator Kai Biru in the Jinghua City case on July 21, 2016, questioning Kai Biru’s personal handwriting on the same August 1. Year coordination meetings, etc. Prosecutor Zhu did not rule out questioning Yahoo on related matters.
