His sudden passing has sent shockwaves throughout the industry and among his fans.
Tsang Kwok-feng’s close friend and fellow veteran artist, Guo Meizhu, has confirmed the news of his passing. The two had a deep and abiding friendship that spanned over 40 years. Guo Meizhu revealed that they had collaborated on numerous projects and had a strong professional and personal bond.
Guo Meizhu shared fond memories of Tsang Kwok-feng’s visits to her home, where they would often chat and share meals together. Their last meeting was just three months ago, and Guo Meizhu described Tsang Kwok-feng as still being in high spirits, despite his health issues. According to Guo Meizhu, Tsang Kwok-feng had only one request before his passing – to inform the Performing Arts Guild of his death. His family has chosen to keep his funeral private, with a floral burial planned for Yangmingshan Mountain.
