Webtoon ⁤Creator Yoo‍ Young Passes Away at 41

Writer Yoo Young, ⁤the creator of the popular webtoon ‘Yeolmu and Altaari’, has passed away at the age of 41.

According to‌ an obituary​ posted on the⁣ deceased’s Instagram account,⁣ Yoo Young suffered a cardiac arrest while sleeping and passed away ⁣on the‍ 23rd.

Kakao Entertainment, where the ‍deceased⁤ serialized the webtoon, also announced the ⁤news, stating that Yoo Young had been working on ‘Yeolmu and Altaari’ since 2019.

A ‌Webtoon that Touched​ Hearts

‘Yeolmu and⁣ Altaari’ is a ​webtoon that depicts the daily ⁣life⁤ of the creator and her child, who was ⁤diagnosed with⁣ cerebral palsy shortly⁣ after birth.

The ​webtoon, which⁢ has gained a massive following, details⁤ the process ⁤of raising disabled twins from birth to growth ‌and higher education, providing a unique‌ perspective on the‍ challenges and triumphs of families raising children with disabilities.

As of the 24th, the webtoon‌ has crossed 45 million views, a testament to its impact and resonance with readers.

Funeral services for Yoo Young⁤ were ‌held at Konyang‍ University Hospital in Daejeon, with the funeral‍ taking place at⁤ 12 noon on the 25th.
