Ben Affleck Reacts to Lisa Barlow’s Claim

If I had a nickel every time a reality star living in Utah claimed to know Ben Affleck, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right? After Lisa Barlow bragged about hanging out with Affleck and Blake Lively at an event instead of going on a girls’ trip, someone finally asked Affleck if he knows Barlow, and unluckily, he doesn’t remember the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star. “I don’t want to get anybody in trouble. I don’t know what this is,” Affleck stuttered when Access Hollywood asked him about Barlow. “like, prove somebody right or wrong?” It’s fair for him not to remember meeting her, considering Affleck has probably met a ton of people in his lifetime and isn’t a Housewives fan. The journalist then showed a photo of Barlow to Affleck, and it still wasn’t ringing any bells. “It doesn’t look familiar to me, and I don’t remember anything,” he added. “I don’t want to embarrass her because I say hi to a lot of people,I don’t want to be the jerk who is like,I did meet you. You don’t remember everyone you meet.”
Affleck was at the SXSW premiere of The Accountant 2 in Austin, Texas, where Barlow was also in attendance; she also went to the premiere of Another Simple Favor, where Blake Lively was also in attendance. Barlow showed her clips from the events in a TikTok captioned, “Ben and Blake 🤔 and turned the comments off. But despite this evidence, it doesn’t prove that Barlow knew Lively or Affleck. They might’ve said hi in passing but again, the ultimate rule of the internet is: pics or it didn’t happen. Maybe they just need a Dunkin’ ad to unite them.
