The series against the pumas mirrors the 2017 tour, which also coincided with a British and Irish Lions tour, creating opportunities for younger players to demonstrate their abilities and perhaps secure senior england positions.
Afolabi Fasogbon, a Gloucester prop who contributed to England’s under-20 World Championship victory last summer, is among those in contention. He has been participating in a four-day training camp this week, ahead of the squad declaration scheduled for Monday, June 23.
